Q: Kate, you are the Sales and Marketing Manager for Footprint Books, Australia. As a distributor, you specialise in academic books from Australian publishers but you also represent publishers from USA, UK, Canada and New Zealand. Why have you decided to focus on this section of books? Do you represent Australian publishers?
A: We decided to focus on the Academic and Professional market because my co-director and myself both had extensive experience in that area in our previous positions within publishing houses and other distributors. We do not currently represent any Australian publishers.
