Last year 30,000 Asturians lost their jobs, 20,000 of which were held by under people under 35.
Unemployment in Asturias between 20-24 year-olds is 37%, the fourth highest rate in Spain.
The Government of President Zapatero is considering a reform that is specifically geared towards this age-range. However, he has not made clear what the programme includes specifically or when it will take effect.
