Frogs and Other Amphibians
Paul Starosta, Teddy Moncuit
Amphibians appeared on earth 360 million years ago, as the first four-footed animals and pioneers in the conquest of dry land. The water, land or tree-dwelling frogs, toads, newts and salamanders of our childhood are but pallid representatives of an infinitely varied family.
Exquisite colour photographs of some of the world's most surprisingly beautiful creatures. Photographer Paul Starosta has captured on film incredible frogs and amphibians of all shapes, sizes and colours, illustrating fascinating creatures with surreal bodies painted in outlandish colours.
